PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power tool of which battery is hardly subjected to direct impact and which is further hardly broken.SOLUTION: An impact driver 1, an instance of the electric power tool, includes the battery 32 and a battery mounting part 30 to which the battery 32 is mounted. The battery mounting part 30 is provided with a projection 34 projecting rearward relative to the battery 32 mounted to the battery mounting part.
