The method involves determining whether a storage inductor (L) is magnetized using clock samples. High frequency clocked switching elements (S1, S3) are closed and switching units (S5, S6) are clocked at high frequency in voltage conversion paths (37, 38) when the inductor is not or insufficiently magnetized, so that a magnetizing current is supplied via the units under bypass of the elements while flowing in a free-wheeling phase of a freewheeling flow via the elements. The current is caused based on an amount of high potential (Uzkh) of a voltage converter device (19) e.g. boost converter. |
