PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method for quantifying benzotropolone ring-containing compounds contained in a liquid sample as a series of compound groups without being isolated into each specific compound.SOLUTION: A liquid sample is treated in a column, and the absorbance in 360-390 nm of the liquid sample after being treated in the column is measured. Further, a step for measuring the absorbance in 437-467 nm of the liquid sample after being treated in the column is included. A benzotropolone ring-containing compound is tea polymerized polyphenol, and the tea polymerized polyphenol is black tea polymerized polyphenol or oolong tea polymerized polyphenol.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
