The road surface displaying device is provided with: a light projection unit (7, 107, 207, 307) which projects light (24) onto a road surface and which performs displaying on the road surface using the light; and a polarization control unit (11) that sets a ratio between P-polarized light and S-polarized light in the light. The road surface displaying device is provided with an object position detection unit (13) that detects the position of an object, and the polarization control unit may set the ratio according to the position of the object. |
