Disclosed are a power supply apparatus and a driving method thereof. The present invention of the power supply apparatus includes first and second converters. The first converter operates to have a first gain when input voltage is in a first range or a second range below the first, and print out the first output voltage and the second output voltage after converting the input voltage. And the second converter operates when the input voltage is in the second range and prints out a third output voltage after converting the second output voltage. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the power supply apparatus can be designed in response to the range of the input voltage, thereby increasing efficiency.
