PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instruction device and a touch detection system capable of achieving a function for excluding a touch operation by a hand holding an instruction device solely by touch operation.SOLUTION: An instruction device includes: a first output part provided in a body part of the instruction device in which a hand of the user holding the instruction device touches; and a first signal generating part which generates a palm detection signal including first code different from a signal detected when the instruction device performs touch operation, and outputs to the first output part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
