摘要 According to one aspect of the application, a device for driving a fastening element into a substrate has an energy-transfer element for transferring energy to the fastening element. The energy-transfer element can move preferably between a starting position and a setting position, wherein the energy-transfer element is located, before a driving-in procedure, in the starting position and, after the driving-in procedure, in the setting position.;According to another aspect of the application, the device comprises a mechanical-energy storage device for storing mechanical energy. The energy-transfer element is then suitable preferably for transferring energy from the mechanical-energy storage device to the fastening element.

A device for driving a fastening element into a substrate, comprising an energy-transfer element that can move along a setting axis between a starting position and a setting position for transferring energy to the fastening element; a mechanical-energy storage device for storing mechanical energy, the mechanical-energy storing device having a spring element, wherein the spring element comprises a coil spring, and the coil spring comprises two spring elements that are spaced apart from each other and mutually supported, and between which, a coupling mechanism for coupling to the energy-transfer element is arranged; wherein the energy-transfer element is suitable for transferring energy from the mechanical-energy storage device to the fastening element; the coupling mechanism temporarily holding the energy-transfer element against spring force of the spring element only in the starting position, wherein the coupling mechanism is arranged on the setting axis or surrounding the setting axis, and wherein the coupling mechanism comprises a locking element that moves perpendicular to the setting axis to engage with the energy-transfer element; and, an energy-transfer mechanism with a linear output that can be moved in a linear manner for transporting the energy-transfer element from the setting position into the starting position on the coupling mechanism and for coupling the energy-transfer element to the coupling mechanism, the device further comprising a housing in which the energy-transfer element, the coupling mechanism and the energy-transfer mechanism are accommodated, wherein the coupling mechanism is fastened to the housing.
