<p>The joint element (10) is assembled of two parts (12, 14). A round bar (12) with a structured surface and a plain area (20) close to one end can be combined with an elastic element (14) assembled of two rings (26, 28) joined with a multitude of longitudinally positioned elastic strips (42). The element (14) is pushed onto the bar (12) and held slightly compressed between the stops (22, 24) formed by the edges of the structured segments. A frame for a piece of furniture, a greenhouse, a climbing structure, or a similar purpose can be created by inserting the joint element (10) into bores or hollow spaces at profiles. The expanding element (14) keeps the parts connected.</p> |
