摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible that a vehicle can pass a dead section without an abrupt current variation even if the vehicle approaches the dead section in an operation state of any one of electrical controlling, power running and coasting.SOLUTION: An electric power conversion system 1 includes: a current detector 10 for detecting a current value inputted from a current collector 4; a voltage detector 16 for detecting a voltage value inputted from the current collector 4; an inverter 21 for converting an electric power collected by the current collector 4; and a filter capacitor 18 connected to the inverter 21 in parallel. A control apparatus 2 detects that a vehicle approaches a dead section from a first electrification section on the basis of a current value detected by the current detector 10, and thereafter, when the control apparatus 2 detects that the vehicle approaches a second electrification section from the dead section on the basis of a voltage value detected by the voltage detector 16, the control apparatus 2 so controls that a voltage value of the filter capacitor 18 is equalized to a feeding voltage value in the second electrification section.
