The present invention concerns a method of electronic storage of documents composing a medical dossier. According to the invention, each dossier (CCL) is allotted a recording code (CPR) consisting, at least in part, of a nosological code (NOS) allotted to the dossier (CCL) and corresponding with a particular service given to a patient by the health service, and the documents in the dossier are scanned in order to generate electronic files identified by said recording code (CPR). <IMAGE>
