PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable engine work machine capable of improving operability in adjusting a tensile amount of a throttle cable regardless of an operating position of an adjustment operation portion.SOLUTION: A valve opening adjustment mechanism 130 has an adjustment operation member 133 for adjusting a tensile amount of a throttle cable 110, and the adjustment operation portion 133 is disposed near a grip 7 and operable in the circumferential direction of an operation rod 2. As a distance between the grip 7 and an operating portion body 133a is not changed regardless of an operating position of the adjustment operation portion 133, operability in adjusting the tensile amount of the throttle cable 110 can be improved. |
