PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a man conveyor which requires no heavy switch, and supplies the power to a light emitting means provided on a tread by the power generation capable of reducing losses. SOLUTION: The man conveyor comprises a moving mechanism 20 which moves a tread 10 from a first point to a second point and circulates the tread 10, and a side plate 40 which is provided along the first point to the second point, and provided close to the tread 10, and further comprises a plurality of permanent magnets 53 which are provided on the side plate 40 at a predetermined spacing, a coil 51 which is provided on the tread 10 to generate the voltage on both ends by the relative motion to the permanent magnet 53, and a light emitting diode 61 which is driven by the induced voltage generated from the coil 51 and provided on a surface part of the tread 10.
