PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a motor vehicle chassis. SOLUTION: The motor vehicle chassis 1 for an motor vehicle has an adapter member 5 to join an aluminum crash box 4 to a longitudinal supporting beam 2. The adapter member 5 has a pot-shaped structure to store one end part of the crash box 4 and it is introduced into the longitudinal supporting beam 2.
