EARTHQUAKE-RESISTANT STRUCTURE AND ITS SLIDABLE BEARING MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slidable bearing member for a structure capable of enhancing the slip of its sliding surface by using a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A sliding member 100B at a sill side has a plurality of lubricant filling holes 24 opened toward the bottom surface and also has a lubricant 6 filled in the lubricant filling holes 24. A sliding member 100A at a foundation side has a plurality of air holes 24 opened toward an upper surface; normally a sill 300 is located at its origin relative to a foundation 200 and each individual air hole 24 is kept to an interrupted state not communicating with any other individual air holes 24. However, the plurality of air holes 24 are so arranged to such a changeable pattern wherein a top surface of the sliding member 100A at the foundation side can be made slidable on a bottom surface of the sliding member 100B at the sill side when an earthquake occurs thereby creating a state communicable with a particular lubricant filling hole 24.
