SOLUTION: The aluminum material for an electrolytic capacitor has an aluminum purity of≥99.9 mass%, comprises Ti of >0.0005 to 0.0025 mass% and Zn of 0.0004 to 0.006 mass%, and in which, as impurities, Ga is regulated to≤0.002 mass%, V to≤0.001 mass%, Zr to≤0.001 mass% and Cr to≤0.001 mass%, respectively.
