A computer readable medium having stored thereon a plurality of instructions, the plurality of instructions include instructions which when executed by the company, the client, or a third party, cause the processor to perform a method for recovering acquisition cost wherein a company is engaged by a client to provide marketing media having a set acquisition cost, a recovery amount, and a recovery condition. The company performs or delivers the marketing media consistent with the acquisition agreement. At least two different audits are performed to determine whether the marketing media were successfully delivered, and the recovery condition was met prior to the return of the recovery amount to the client.
