The antenna has a planar radiator unit (301) for radiating electromagnetic transmission signals to an outer area (303) of the antenna, and a plate-shaped process separation e.g. ceramic plate (302), for separating the outer area from the inner area (304) of the antenna, where the separation is arranged between the radiator unit and the outer area. A metal wall (305) is spaced from the radiator unit, where a substrate with less dielectric constant corresponding to the dielectric constant of gases or vacuum is arranged between the wall and the separation.
