PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress electric power consumption of a display device of an elevator and to display information appropriate for an operation mode of a car. SOLUTION: An elevator control device 2 supplies electric power to an in-car floor display device 14 and an in-car direction display device 15 when a call registration by pressing a destination floor registration button 13 or a landing call button 9 is detected. While the electric power is being supplied, the elevator control device 2 makes electronic paper of the in-car direction display device 15 and a landing direction display device 11 display a moving direction of the car 3. After a direction display control is finished, the elevator control device 2 stops electric power supply to the in-car direction display device 15 and the landing direction display device 11 while the car 3 is moving in the direction.
