摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in an infrared imaging apparatus, lateral noise randomly varying luminance for each horizontal scan line is generated in a screen because of variation in a peak value of a vertical driving pulse to be applied to a drive line of an infrared solid-state image element. SOLUTION: For each of pixels within a horizontal effective pixel range, a line average value is calculated in every horizontal scan term (15), the line average value is subtracted from a fixed signal level to calculate an offset correction amount (16), and an offset-corrected signal is outputted (8). The offset-corrected signal is attenuated at a predetermined attenuation rate (10), and fixed pattern noise of a preceding frame stored in a frame memory (13) is updated (12).
