PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel mounting device capable of restraining a drop of a panel and facilitating the manufacturing, and also to provide a ceiling embedded speaker with the panel mounting device.SOLUTION: A panel mounting device 10 comprises: a case 40 to be placed on a ceiling rear side; and a coil spring 51 for attracting a panel 30 to be placed on a ceiling front side to the case 40. The case 40 includes: a first through hole 45A where one end of the coil spring 51 is inserted; and a second through hole 45B where the other end is inserted. The coil spring 51 is hooked on a rear surface side of the case 40. One end of the coil spring is inserted to the first through hole 45A so as to be connected to the panel 30 and also the other end is inserted to the second through hole 45B so as to be connected to the panel 30. The coil spring 51 includes an enlarged part 53 enlarged in a direction vertical to an extending/contracting direction. The width of the enlarged part 53 is larger than the bore of the first and second through holes 45A and 45B. |
