PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic body detector being able to detect even a small magnetic body without saturating a magnetic sensor even under strong magnetic flux density environment as means for warning that the magnetic body enters the inside of a room installed with a strong magnet of an MRI diagnostic apparatus or the like, and properly notifying a user by arithmetic processing to suppress a detection value of the magnetic body not passing a gate.SOLUTION: A magnetic body detector reduces a strong DC magnetic flux density applied to a detection axis by setting a solid angle between the detection axis of a magnetic sensor and a vertical axis or a horizontal axis to be 15° or less, can detect a small change of a magnetic flux density by entry of a small magnetic body without being saturated, extracts a characteristic of a magnetic body not passing by the magnetic sensors disposed back and forth and left and right of a gate, and suppresses it by calculation to set only a neighborhood magnetic body passing the gate as a detection target. |
