PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle travel control device and a program which can reduce acceleration suppression having a low necessity.SOLUTION: A vehicle travel control device (1) comprises: inter-vehicle distance control means (3, 5) for maintaining an inter-vehicle distance between a preceding vehicle and a self vehicle in a set inter-vehicle distance; acceleration means (5) for accelerating the self vehicle so that a velocity of the self vehicle becomes a set vehicle velocity when the preceding vehicle is lost; and acceleration suppression means (7) for suppressing the acceleration by the acceleration means on condition that the preceding vehicle and the self vehicle at the time of being lost are under the condition where an allowance time t is less than a predetermined lower limit. |
