The present invention relates to a method for enhancing dewaterability of sludge by using activated persulfate and a sludge dewatering method using the same, and more particularly to a method for improving dewaterability of sludge by performing oxidation decomposition on a dewatering inhibition component contained in sludge by using activated persulfate and a sludge dewatering method using the same. The method for enhancing dewaterability of sludge according to the present invention is configured to activate persulfate, i.e., a strong advanced oxidizing agent, to attack cells of microorganisms, i.e., a main component of sludge, to elute moisture from the cells of the microorganisms, and to reduce extracellular polymeric substances (EPSs), i.e., a dewatering inhibition component. Accordingly, a dewatering rate of sludge can be improved, and a reduction in weight of sludge can be achieved through solubilization of microorganisms. |
