PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and efficiently manufacturing porous cellulose particles having a narrow pore size distribution and high mechanical strength.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing porous cellulose particles according to the present invention includes the steps of: a) preparing a cellulose dispersion by at least mixing cellulose, water, a strong base compound, and an ether-based surfactant at a low temperature; b) preparing an emulsion by at least mixing the cellulose suspension with a dispersion medium; and c) bringing the emulsion into contact with a coagulation solvent.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
