PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting apparatus capable of irradiating light on an irradiation body so that luminance in a surface direction of the irradiation body may be uniform, and a display device having the lighting apparatus.SOLUTION: As for a backlight unit 1, a reflection member 118 has an auxiliary reflection part 1182, and the auxiliary reflection part 1182 surrounds a light-emitting part 111 and extends by inclining at a prescribed angle to an optical axis S of the light-emitting part 111. Then, in the auxiliary reflection parts 1182 forming an inverted V-shape of the neighboring light-emitting devices 11, a projection area of the auxiliary reflection parts 1182 on a far side to the center of a bottom part 131 is established to be larger than the projection area of the auxiliary reflection parts 1182 on a near side to the center of the bottom part 131 in the frame member 13. |
