[Problem] To provide a cycloolefin ring-opened copolymer that has excellent cold flow properties and that consequently has high storage stability and is easy to handle during the production thereof. [Solution] A cycloolefin ring-opened copolymer according to the present invention comprises a structural unit derived from cyclopentene and a structural unit derived from an unsubstituted single-ring cyclic olefin compound other than cyclopentene. The content of the structural unit derived from cyclopentene is 80 mol% or more and the content of the structural unit derived from the single-ring cyclic olefin compound is 20 mol% or less among all of the repeating units of the cycloolefin ring-opened copolymer.
