An electromagnetic valve (70) is used in a transmission-use fuel pressure control device (50) that includes an oil pump (20) which supplies oil pressure to a transmission that operates by oil pressure, and an accumulator (60) that accumulates the oil pressure generated by the oil pump (20), wherein the electromagnetic valve (70) is provided with the following: an electromagnetic valve body (72) which is connected to the accumulator (60) and which includes an oil-path opening and closing valve body (74) that opens and closes an oil path between the accumulator (60) and the transmission; a seal member (77) which is disposed inside of the electromagnetic valve body (72) and which seals to prevent oil leakage from a sliding portion, such leakage accompanying the opening and closing operation of the oil-path opening and closing valve body (74); and a pressure adjusting mechanism (80) which is disposed inside of the electromagnetic valve body (72) and which carries out adjustment to release the pressure inside of the accumulator (60) in a case where the oil pressure in the electromagnetic valve body (72) on the accumulator (60) side has risen to at least a prescribed pressure.
