<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering apparatus capable of directing a car body in an optional direction independent of the vehicle advancing direction. SOLUTION: The steering apparatus of a vehicle 1 is capable of steering all wheels and has wheels 2. When an occupant operates a direction instructing operation element 6 for instructing a variable of the car body direction, a controller 9 computes the steering angle of each wheel 2 and generates a steering angle signal such that the direction of the car body 1 follows the instruction of the operation element 6 independently of the advancing direction of the car body 1. Upon receiving the steering angle signal from the controller 9, a steering actuator 3 performs the steering of each wheel 2.</p> |
