A data operation method in a mobile communication system and a system therefor are provided to enable exact channel estimation due to according a serving base station signal with an interference base station signal as a common zone is used in a data area, thereby effectively eliminating interference signals as estimating exact channel values. At least one base station allocates a frame which includes a common zone for an interference elimination function(801). A terminal confirms whether to use the common zone from the base station(803). The base station confirms whether the terminal is located in a cell border(805). If so, the base station first allocates a burst to the common zone, and transmits the burst to the terminal(807,809). The common zone is located at the end of the frame.
