PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared gas analyzer for reducing the influence by vapor contained in a reference gas and a sample gas, and measurement errors due to the difference in vapor concentration in both the gases. Ž
SOLUTION: A vapor concentration adjusting means 10, incorporating a semipermeable vapor exchange substance 11 having a function for absorbing/discharging vapor in gas in contact, is installed at the channel between a three-way valve 7 and a sample cell 1. Then, the sample gas and reference gas, supplied from the three-way valve 7, are guided to the sample cell 1 via the vapor concentration adjusting means 10. Accordingly, even if there is a difference between the vapor concentration of the reference gas and that of the sample gas, the vapor concentration becomes constant at the outlet of the vapor concentration adjusting means 10.
