PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notifying device capable of realizing a further flexible inquiry. SOLUTION: This notifying device operates so as to be capable of putting a proposal from the notifying device 12 in a pending state by an intention of a user (S235 and S237). Thus, the determining timing of the existence of acceptance of the proposal can be clearly postponed, and easiness-to-use is good for the user. The notifying device also operates so as to make a reproposal by releasing the pending state when estimating that a gasoline residual quantity is extremely small (S145 and S150).
