PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a determination mistake of an organism sample in a quantitative determination part, in an organism sample determination device determining quantitatively the organism sample charged in the second flow passage after injecting a buffer agent into the first flow passage, and subjecting the determined organism sample to electrophoresis in the first flow passage. SOLUTION: The buffer agent is injected from an injection port 123 for the buffer agent to fill up an injection part 113 of the buffer agent. The organism sample is injected from an injection port 124 for the organism sample to fill up an injection part 114 of the organism sample. Then, a plate is rotated to charge the buffer agent into the first flow passage 116 and to charge the organism sample into the second flow passage 117. The organism sample is thereafter made to be remained only in the quantitative determination part 120 and is determined. The presence of the organism sample only in the quantitative determination part is detected by an optical detection unit to confirm the propriety of exact determination. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
