The bin is especially adapted to collect medical refuse, and has a calibrated flap which extends downward and indicates when the bin is getting dangerously full. The flap is held on a flexure at the point on the internal rim closest to the hinge carrying the lid. A catch mechanism (10,11) may hold the calibrated flap in its operative position. |
