Provided is a display device including a gate drive circuit which is capable of reducing placement area and power consumption. The display device includes: multiple pixels; a gate line connected to the pixels; an output terminal connected to the gate line; a first transistor which includes a gate electrode connected to a first node, one terminal connected to a first clock signal input terminal and the other terminal connected to the output terminal; a second transistor which includes a gate electrode connected to a second clock signal input terminal, one terminal connected to low level power source voltage and the other terminal connected to the output terminal; a third transistor which includes a gate electrode connected to a second node, one terminal connected to the low level power source voltage and the other terminal connected to the first node; a fourth transistor which includes a gate electrode connected to a first forward directional input terminal to which a gate signal which comes a first period prior to a gate signal output from the output terminal is input, one terminal connected to the low level power source voltage and the other terminal connected to the second node; and a fifth transistor which includes a gate electrode connected to a first reverse directional input terminal to which a gate signal which comes the first period subsequent to the gate signal output from the output terminal is input, one terminal connected to the low level power source voltage and the other terminal connected to the second node.
