The present invention relates to a battery pack comprising: a battery cell assembly which contains at least two plate-typed battery cells where protruded electrode terminals are located on a relatively narrow surface; a battery management unit which contains terminal connecting parts corresponding to the electrode terminals, is electrically connected to battery cells through the terminal connecting parts, and manages operational states of the battery cells; a battery connector which is electrically connected to the battery management unit and is configured to be electrically connected to an external device; and a pack case accommodating the battery cell assembly and the battery management unit. To facilitate a mutually electrical connection by welding or soldering of the battery cell assembly and the battery management unit, in the plate-typed battery cells of the battery cell assembly, electrode terminals faces the same direction and are stacked or arranged while relatively wide surfaces of the plate-typed battery cells face each other. In a relatively wide surface of the plate-typed battery cell in a welding direction, electrode terminals are located not to overlap each other. The terminal connecting parts in locations corresponding to the electrode terminals are formed on the battery management unit. |
