The present invention relates to a communication terminal for providing an address book search function and a program stored in a medium to execute a method thereof. The present invention is to provide a communication terminal which disposes an icon for simply connecting contact information for a name corresponding to a specific name or one or more consonants, on a search result screen, when the specific name or one or more consonants are input from a terminal user, and a program stored in a medium to execute a method thereof.
