Disclosed are an image processing system which performs pre-processing on a processing target image to increase image compression efficiency and performs a compression on the pre-processed processing target image, and a providing method thereof. According to an aspect of the present invention, the image processing system comprises: an acquisition module which acquires an attribute value of a conversion target pixel included in a processing target image and an attribute value of a preceding pixel of the conversion target pixel; a determination module which determines whether to convert the attribute value of the conversion target pixel based on the attribute value of the conversion target pixel and the attribute value of the preceding pixel; and a conversion module which, when the determination module determines to convert the attribute value of the conversion target pixel, converts the attribute value of the conversion target pixel into the attribute value of the preceding pixel, wherein, when the preceding pixel is a pixel whose attribute value is converted by the conversion module, the attribute value of the preceding pixel is an attribute value after conversion.
