A roofing seat device (1, 50) suitable for engagement with and rolling movement along two roof battens or roof mounted rails and comprises a support base (2, 52) having first batten/rail engagement means (3), second batten/rail engagement means (4), and a surface for supporting a person, roofing tiles or the like (5, 55), wherein the first and second batten/rail engagement means comprise rollers adapted to roll along a batten/rail. The first batten/rail engagement means comprises two spaced apart pairs of rollers each pair comprising a first roller (12) which is adapted to engage a top of a first batten/rail and a second roller (13) which is adapted to engage an upper side of the first batten/rail. The second batten engagement means comprises two spaced apart rollers (17) each roller adapted to engage a top of a second batten/rail. The surface for supporting a person is a seat which is adapted for adjustment of the angle of the seat with respect to the support base. |
