A floor cleaning robot and a water collection apparatus (41) thereof. The water collection apparatus (41) comprises a cover body which is installed on a robot body (1) and can rotate back and forth between a first position and a second position with respect to the robot body (1). When the cover body is located at the first position, the cover body is located below a mop head (3) to collect sewage drained from the mop head (3), and when the cover body is located at the second position, the lower side of the mop head (3) is exposed. The cover body of the water collection apparatus (41) for the floor cleaning robot has a simple structure and is convenient to operate. The sewage extruded from the mop head (3) can be collected by operating the cover body, so that the floor cleaning robot provided with the water collection apparatus (41) can wash the mop head (3) clean without detaching of the mop head (3) and manual operation, thereby eliminating the defect that the mop head (3) is detached frequently to be cleaned or replaced. |
