The present invention relates to a metallic plate for heating having an enlarged radiating area and a method of manufacturing the same, wherein on a surface of a metal plate with excellent lightweight properties, machinability, and heat conduction quality; an uneven surface having a three-dimensional structure is formed for a radiating area which can be in contact with the air to be enlarged, thus improving properties of radiation of a heat product such as a radiation heating panel for a ceiling. The present invention provides a metallic plate for heating, which forms a primary nickel plating layer on a surface of the metallic plate; sprays aluminum nitride which is a radiating component to the primary nickel plating layer; performs secondary nickel plating on the primary nickel plating layer; and repeatedly performs an aluminum nitride spraying process and a nickel plating process to form a nickel plating layer having an irregular uneven shape around aluminum nitride.
