Mounting pads for attaching tines to a pick-up device of a crop implement such as a round baler are disclosed. In some embodiments, the mounting pad includes a tab portion that is hinged to loop around the connecting loop of the tine.

1. A tine assembly for conveying crop material from a surface into an implement, the tine assembly comprising:
a tine comprising:
a coil;an arm that extends from the coil; anda connecting loop extending from the coil for attaching the tine to a tine support; and a mounting pad comprising:
a body portion for mounting between the coil and the tine support, the body portion having a body aperture for receiving a given fastener to attach the body portion to the tine support; anda tab that extends from the body portion for mounting between a given fastener and the connecting loop, the tab having a tab aperture for receiving the given fastener.
