PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label printing device capable of effectively using a mountless label irrespective of the amount of printing information.SOLUTION: A label printing device 160 comprises: a roll holder 61; a delivery roller 63; a printing part 62; and a control device 80. The roll holder holds a label roll on which a mountless label has been wound. The delivery roller delivers the mountless label from the label roll. The printing part prints merchandise on the mountless label. The control device controls the operations of the delivery roller and the printing part. The control device includes a layout information storage part. The layout information storage part stores layout information for printing the merchandise information on the mountless label. The printing part prints the merchandise information on the mountless label based on the layout information so that first information contained in the merchandise information can be set in parallel to the longitudinal direction of the mountless label and second information contained in the merchandise information can be set in parallel to a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the mountless label. |
