PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the point at issue wherein control of high precision becomes necessary because a marked line applied container must be accurately moved to a position where a marked line and a liquid surface are detected by a sensor means in a conventional automatic liquid injection device. SOLUTION: The automatic liquid injection device is constituted of a two-dimensional image sensor, the sheet floodlight projection part opposed thereto and the coloring parts arranged on the left and right sides and having a color different from the floodlight projection color of the sheet floodlight projection part so that the space positioned when a liquid is injected in the marked line applied container is left in a lateral direction. A sheet illumination means is arranged and a detection means for detecting the respective positions of a position in a horizontal direction, the marked line and the liquid surface from the two-dimensional image obtained by photographing the marked line applied container by the two-dimensional image sensor and a control means for controlling the liquid injection means on the basis of those detected positions are constituted. The detection means is constituted so as to detect the position in the horizontal direction on the two-dimensional image of the marked line applied container on the basis of the image of the coloring parts linearly expressed on both end edges of the marked line applied container.
