PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable transmission stations and reception stations to communicate with each other by effectively determining a specified transmission station among a large number of the transmission stations, in a communication system by which a large number of the transmission stations and the reception stations can communicate with each other. SOLUTION: This communication system comprises: a reception means that receives radio signals simultaneously transmitted at each station group from a plurality of the transmission stations that are classified into a plurality of station groups; and an analysis means that analyses the received radio signals, and discriminates the station group including the specified transmission station from among the plurality of station groups. The system can discriminate the specified transmission station from among the plurality of transmission stations on the basis of the radio signals from the transmission stations that are transmitted by being grouped at each station group, without performing the sequential communication of the radio signal with each of the plurality of transmission stations.
