PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base-isolated structure capable of reducing the transmission of rapidly changing acceleration.SOLUTION: The base-isolated structure of the invention is a base-isolated structure for a building 3 installed between the building 3 and a foundation 2. The base-isolated structure comprises a base-isolated slide bearing that supports vertical loads of the building 3, an elastic rubber member connected with the building 3 and the foundation 2 that works in the horizontal direction for promoting restoration, and damping means 10 for damping quakes transmitted from the foundation 2 to the building 3. The damping means 10 comprises an oil damper 11 and a spring mechanism 12 connected serially to the oil damper 11. |
