PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the wear of a seal ring holder and members contacting it.SOLUTION: A scroll compressor includes: a ring-shaped seal ring (37) for applying sealing between a first back pressure space (23) on the inner periphery side of the back face of a movable scroll (5) and a second back pressure space (24) on the outer periphery side of the back face of the movable scroll (5); a ring-shaped seal ring holder (93) for holding the seal ring (37); and a housing (3) for supporting a driving shaft (7). The first back pressure space (23) is communicated with a lower space (17) where compressed fluid is discharged from a compression mechanism (14). The pressure of the second back pressure space (24) is an intermediate pressure which is higher than the pressure of the fluid to be sucked into the compression mechanism (14) and equal to or lower than the pressure of the fluid to be discharged from the compression mechanism (14). The seal ring holder (93) is fixed to the housing (3). |
