PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint material for coating joints which facilitates both coating of the joint material on a tile construction surface and wiping off the same, and to provide a coating joint method of construction. SOLUTION: The joint material for coating joints comprises an epoxy resin composition and a curing agent composition which is added to the epoxy resin composition, wherein water is added to at least one of the epoxy resin composition and the curing agent composition.
