PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser-weldable modified polyester resin composition which is a modified polyester resin capable of being applied as a laser beam transmission side molding without adversely affecting product design versatility and good in moldability. SOLUTION: The laser-weldable modified polyester resin composition is a thermoplastic polyester resin composed of bonded dihydric alcohol residues and dibasic carboxylic acid residues and is obtained by copolymerizing a specified dihydric siloxane compound in a siloxane compound/dihydric alcohol compound ratio of 3-20 to 97-80 by weight.
