<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strongly and stably mount a piezoelectric resonator in which a mount-supporting part is formed and the length of a base part is shortened. <P>SOLUTION: A piezoelectric resonator 1 is provided which comprises a piezoelectric vibrator 2, an airtight terminal 4, a step-shaped mount adapter 5, and a case 3, wherein the piezoelectric vibrator 2 includes a pair of vibrating arms 10, 11; a base part 12 at which base end sides of the vibrating arms are fixed; and mount supporting parts 13 each of which is disposed outside a vibrating arm, in parallel with the vibrating arm and of which the base end side is fixed at the base part, the airtight terminal 4 includes a stem 30 and a lead terminal 31, of which one end side is used as the inner lead 31a and the other end side is used as the outer lead 31b, the mount adapter 5 supports the piezoelectric resonator, while bringing the vibrating arms into a non-contact state with the inner lead and electrically connects the inner leads and the mount supporting parts, respectively, and the case 3 is fixed to the stem, while housing therein the piezoelectric vibrator and the mounting adapter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
