WASTE FEEDER OF GASIFYING FURNACE, AND WASTE FEEDING METHOD TO GASIFYING FURNACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste feeder of a gasifying furnace having better waste quantitative feeding performance. SOLUTION: An upper damper 11 and a lower damper 12 alternately operated to opened and closed are provided at a vertical chute 7a of a seal chute 7 constituting the waste feeder 1, and have sealing functions for preventing outside air from flowing into the gasifying furnace. The lower damper 12 comprises a left lower damper 12a and a right lower damper 12b in parallel with a center line Lc in the longitudinal direction crossing the center in the width direction of a horizontal chute 7b of the seal chute 7, and opened and closed via lower part supporting shafts 12p provided at opposing inner wall sides of the vertical chute 7a.
